Psychotherapist

Welcome :) The first step to growth is the hardest, and you should be proud of yourself for deciding to move forward in your life and be the best version of YOU. I appreciate you stopping by my profile, and I wish you the best of luck finding a therapist who is a great fit. I am a licensed therapist in the state of Florida with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Loyola College. Most of my career-over two decades-has been school-based, working with students and families. I am an ADHD-Certified Clinical Service Provider (ADHD-CCSP). As a neurodivergent myself, I have spent a lifetime figuring out my ADHD brain (the hyper-fixating is real). You may face challenges with self-esteem, anxiety, setting boundaries, losing yourself in relationships, impulsive spending, extreme sensitivity, imposter syndrome, communication, and overeating, to name a few :) As a neurodivergent, you also have many incredible strengths, which we will capitalize on and foster in our sessions. I empower high-functioning adults to release the mask they may have created and be their authentic selves. Our sessions are designed with your brain and focus in mind. The first session is 30 minutes and at no cost to you because I believe counseling needs to be a good fit for both of us! I schedule 15, 30, and 45-minute sessions. Some clients love to multitask and walk and talk or organize their closets. We will see what amount of time works for you, and I am always flexible with what will benefit you the most.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our sessions are a place where you will be respected, listened to and always supported. We will work on specific goals/struggles that you may have and we will focus on your strengths and work on maximizing all the gifts you already have. There is no judgment in our sessions and I want you to feel safe to be yourself and trust the therapeutic relationship. Being a human is hard enough without any additional stressors added to your life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
