Getting to know Mary Little
I have approximately 25 years in the social work and therapy field. I have worked with clients of all ages, including children and elders. My experience spans many different environments, such as client homes, schools, hospitals, group homes, shelters, and community clinics. Since 2016, I have been working in private practice. I am licensed in GA, FL, and NM and have worked in all of these states, as well as in PA, MD, and WV. Originally from GA, I currently live and work in NM and also see virtual clients in GA and FL. I have a special interest in working with trauma, including complex PTSD and developmental trauma, which involves ongoing and repeated trauma throughout significant parts of a person’s life. I enjoy creating a safe and supportive environment for my clients to open up and share their experiences. I prefer working from a mind/body/spirit or integrative perspective, allowing for connection to the body and a mindfulness-based or meditative approach. This also fosters the development of self-compassion and gentleness with the self as we work toward positive change. I also work from a trauma-informed perspective that acknowledges the impact life experiences have on self-esteem and how we approach life and relationships with others. Overall, I enjoy helping my clients realize their strengths and potential and supporting them in learning new coping skills, healthy habits, and communication skills that improve their quality of life.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
