What should a new client know about working with you?

I am your advocate to provide direct and straightforward yet empathetic guidance. I take pride in my ability to listen and understand where the concerns lie and help you navigate through. I have extensive knowledge, resources, skills and tools to offer and help problem solve your issues. I have vast experience working with depression, co-dependency, addictions, grief, men's issues and trauma. My real expertise lies in anxiety, OCD and women struggling with peri or menopause symptoms.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I would love to chat for a brief phone appt (NO CHARGE) to determine if we are a good fit. If we move forward I will have you come for a psychiatric evaluation to gather information in order to get a big picture of who you are and where you've come from. I like to be thorough. This will all be over telehealth i.e. Zoom. I especially love to hear about your self care routines and social supports as they are necessary for improving and managing your mental health. As a new client I prefer that we meet weekly to develop trust and build rapport. I am flexible with my availability and work with you and your schedule to make sure you are seen when you need or want a session. When it's comfortable we will reduce sessions to twice a month or what is preferred. I offer assignments and homework but do not pressure you to follow through. I always have your best interest in mind and offer assistance accordingly.
