Hello! My name is M. Rayven Owens, and I am a Transpersonal Psychologist, NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Board-Certified Tele Mental Health Provider. In addition to my clinical license, I am also trained and certified in Transpersonal Therapy from the International Institute for Consciousness Exploration and Psychotherapy in the Black Forest, Freiburg, Germany. I work with clients challenged with anxiety, depression, and PTSD among other disorders. My transpersonal therapeutic approach involves individual sessions where clients work through cognitive issues on a personal level and deep contemplative practices that access higher modes of consciousness. My integrated clinical and spiritual therapy fosters a more comprehensive understanding of my clients’ context towards assisting them achieve optimal functioning. During our sessions, we will explore all of your presenting concerns without presumptions and judgments in a safe and confidential environment. I will assist you in setting realistic goals towards attaining the life-satisfaction you desire. I am here to help you turn any cognitive distortions you may have into sources of motivation and insight.
