What should a new client know about working with you?

I recognize the path towards healing can feel daunting. It requires vulnerability, trust, bravery, and honesty – but you do not have to walk it alone. Together we will create a therapeutic space that encourages collaboration, exploration, connection, curiosity, and authenticity. Where you can come as you are, and work through your needs, without judgment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In order for me to challenge you and invite growth in our sessions, I bring my full self to the room, just as I ask you to. My therapeutic style is warm, casual, kind, and honest (with a splash of laughter). I am committed to celebrating individuals for who they are, appreciating diversity and individuality in backgrounds, identities, and relationship styles. My goal is to support you in feeling liberated to explore your past, empowered to work on the present, and step confidently towards your most fulfilling future. I believe successful treatment is tailored to you and your unique lived experiences; It is crucial for us to honor all parts of you, all equally contributing to the beautiful person that you are. I have a tremendous amount of trauma from my childhood which is being reenacted in my current unstable and abusive relationship. It has been a very difficult journey, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. This practice has been a life saver for me.
Really transforming. I have finally been able to understand myself. I have learned to react more constructively in very challenging situations (which I seem to have a lot of in my life).
I was having so much trouble with my children and parenting. It felt like our relationship was being ruined by the constant arguing. I learned about the 1,2,3 parenting method and positive parenting. I really did not believe these would work--but they really DID.
I started coming to this practice for Individual therapy and it went so well that I begin couples counseling here a well. Very detailed knowledge of the Gottman Method and EMDR. We finally understand ways to argue constructively. This has made such a huge difference in our marriage. Thank you!
This practice has been amazing over an extended period of time. Always professional, on time and they take care of insurance from start to finish. All I Need to do is come to therapy. I am non-binary and had significant trouble finding someone to work through my sexuality with. So happy I found this practice.
