Getting to know Maryanne Walker

You're the one everyone relies on. Capable, responsible, and always holding it together-until it starts to cost you. You may feel wired but exhausted, overwhelmed by simple tasks, or stuck in cycles of burnout and shutdown. Many of my clients don't call it “overfunctioning,” but they know something isn't working. I help women understand their nervous system, reduce overwhelm, and rebuild sustainable ways of thinking, working, and relating-so life feels manageable again, not like something to survive.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My client's goals are priority. If a client needs to talk, we talk. If they are looking for tools and tips, that's what we work on. If my client is looking for an accountability partner, I become one. My focus is on finding out what my client needs from the therapeutic process and structuring our sessions to provide that. Most importantly, I try to provide a safe, nonjudgemental experience so my clients WANT to come to therapy. This process is about you, the client, and I value our time together. Bottom line, I want you to leave our sessions with what you need to lead a healthy, productive, and joyful life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
