My greatest strength is in accepting and working with you exactly as you are right now. I'll ask questions to help you explore your current situation and where you'd like to be. I don't expect you to have all the answers right away. However, together you will be able to find the answer My focus My ideal client is ready to seek support and make a change, even if they aren't sure exactly what that change looks like yet. I see myself as a partner on this journey, ready to walk the path with you. I enjoy working with clients who are willing to explore their difficulties and try new skills. My communication style I communicate with compassion, encouragement, and humor. Life is hard, and I validate the difficult parts for you. I encourage you to reach that healthier lifestyle that you desire. I love using humor and seeing my clients smile. My journey to mental healthcare I began my career in substance abuse counseling and DUI classes. I’ve specialized in talk therapy, play therapy, and art therapy, with a focus on helping clients resolve unresolved trauma. Most recently, I spent six years as the Behavioral Health Program Director for a foster agency in California. My goals for you We will review your concerns and desired outcomes for therapy. That information we can utilize to create one to two goals to help you heal and become a healthier you. Completing goals will result in discussing any other potential goals you would like to work on or deciding that therapy has come to a successful end.
