My practice is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach that honors each individual’s unique identity and lived experience. I work with individuals, couples, and families on a range of concerns including intimacy, communication, ADHD, parenting, and relationship dynamics. What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know that you’ll be met with warmth, respect, and curiosity from day one. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I see therapy as a partnership—we’ll work together to explore what’s working, what’s not, and how you want to grow or heal. I approach therapy through a neurodiversity-affirming, social model lens. That means I don’t see people as “problems to fix,” but as whole, complex individuals with unique strengths and experiences. I focus on understanding your story, honoring your identity, and helping you build tools that align with your values. I also offer animal-assisted therapy with my certified therapy dog, Louie, who brings a gentle and grounding presence to sessions. Whether we’re discussing relationships, sex, identity, parenting, or navigating ADHD, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe to show up as you are.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My ideal clients are individuals with ADHD or other neurodivergent identities looking for a therapist who sees them through a strengths-based, non-pathologizing lens and are navigating relationship or sexual concerns. I work with couples wanting to improve communication, intimacy, or connection—especially where neurodivergence, parenting stress, or mismatched needs are present. I also work with parents needing support, especially neurodivergent ones or those raising neurodivergent children) looking for guidance that honors their values and family’s unique dynamics and caregivers navigating behavioral, emotional, or educational concerns. In our first few sessions, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your goals, your story, and what brought you to therapy, but there’s no rush—we move at your pace. My role is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to be yourself and explore what matters most to you. Sessions typically feel like open conversations, guided by your needs. Some days we may focus on problem-solving or building specific tools, while other times we may explore deeper patterns, emotions, or past experiences. I draw from evidence-based practices while also being flexible and intuitive in my approach. Louie, my therapy dog, is often present in sessions and can offer comfort, grounding, and connection—especially during more emotionally challenging work. Over time, we’ll revisit your goals and make sure therapy continues to feel helpful and aligned with your growth. I believe in honoring your unique identity and empowering you to move through life with more clarity, connection, and self-trust.
