Getting to know Matt DuPriest

I have been working in mental health for 15 years I enjoy working with kids starting from the age of 7 years of age up to 18 yrs of age whom are struggling with fitting in, school difficulties, ADHD, Depression, Autism spectrum disorder, Anxiety, Bi polar disorder and adjustment disorders. I also enjoy work with adults whom struggle with life changing events, PTSD, depression and anxiety. It has been my experience that many of the difficulties listed above involve more than just the individual. Many times they encompass a partner and or family system. I am qualified to work with couples as well as families and truly appreciate the opportunity when available. My frame work is based off of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also incorporate Motivational Interviewing, Strength Based Therapy and Client centered practice. I am also trained in Sand Tray Therapy and Play therapy. The goal of therapy is to help the person heal and on the way to being emotionally healed.
