This is one of the reasons why I try to make therapy as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Of course it can be hard to talk about your problems and emotions with a stranger. That being said, I am very laid back, chill by nature, and love to laugh and joke around. So, I certainly welcome humor in sessions. I try to show up as my authentic self and personality and certainly welcome you to do the same. I have a background in narrative, family systems, and relational therapy. Meaning let's talk about the stories you are telling yourself (and the ways they are no longer serving you), where you came from, what you did to survive. This will allow us to actually get to how to transform those stories and experiences so you can finally thrive.
