Matthew Aronoff, LMHC

Matthew Aronoff, LMHC

Psychotherapist
NY
I use a humanistic approach, treating everyone as an individual. While people might have similar experiences, everyone is different and needs their own level of care. Signing up and attending therapy is often difficult, and my goal is to help people connect quickly to start their journey of recovery. I have a history of working with substance abuse disorders, situational and clinical depression and anxiety, bipolar disorder, traumatic histories, LGBTQAI populations, and people who need or want anger management support. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I’ve worked as a counselor for eight years in a variety of settings, and I encourage people to consider their own behaviors and thoughts to help them make decisions they are comfortable with. We can travel the mental health journey together with as much support as possible.
