I believe healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and supported, and that’s exactly what I aim to offer in our work together. My style of care is grounded in honesty, partnership, and a deep respect for each person’s individual experience. I strive to foster an environment where clients can speak freely and feel truly heard. What should a new client know about working with you?

I work best with individuals who are navigating the psychological impact of trauma, chronic stress, or longstanding mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, or mood instability. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by their past or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. My approach is steady, compassionate, and clinically grounded. I provide a space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace, without pressure or judgment. Whether we’re unpacking trauma, making sense of a diagnosis, or learning to manage distressing thoughts and emotions, I help clients build insight, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward a more stable and empowered version of themselves.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My communication style is calm, empathetic, and client-led. I create a space where clients feel heard, accepted, and free to express themselves without judgment. Using a Rogerian, client-centered approach, I reflect thoughtfully and follow the client’s pace, offering support and presence rather than direction or pressure. I was drawn to become a provider through personal and familial experiences with mental health, and a drive to establish or provide mental health access and assistance to those who need it and seek it. I collaborate with clients to identify meaningful goals and create a clear, realistic path toward them using cognitive therapy and behavioral activation methods. Together, we track progress and adjust as needed, using evidence-based methods and a pace that respects each person’s readiness. First session expectations can be overwhelming and even an anxious experience. I like my clients to get the chance to relax and feel more comfortable during the first session, rather than answering several assessment questionnaires. I would like clients to experience a professional and formal, yet relaxed session to help them open up for the work that needs to be done.
