We all may struggle at some time in our lives when we feel anxious and are trying to find new ways to get through the day. This is what I love to help my clients with. As a Licensed Therapist with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills, I have worked in various settings, including psychiatric hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient therapy. My goal is to meet my clients where they are in life. I want to help you improve your quality of life and relationships. Therapy is not only a place to build a toolbox of coping skills to manage symptoms but also a space to understand ourselves and better identify our needs. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy, including CBT, mindfulness, and humanistic therapies. I believe that rapport and feeling comfortable in therapy are foundational to counseling and healing. I provide a safe space for your healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution focused. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then develop a plan for progress. With CBT and solution focused, we'll look at the best fit to put in the position for success in your life. During treatment, I'll assist you on how to push back against negative thinking that can impact out mood.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety or partner relational issues. During our sessions, we will be identifying the underlying issues, and work together to create a plan to address them effectively. Most of my clients see a change within the first month and work towards sustainability.
