What should a new client know about working with you?
It's been well documented that not every therapy works for everyone. I always have a free 15 minute consultation with every client in order to first make sure that we are a good fit. As we work together, I tailor a therapeutic approach that is modeled after what it is you're looking for. My first priority is identifying what is the goal of therapy for you and then work with you to help you reach that goal.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Every process is different for every person. Typically, the first few sessions will begin with us getting to know each other and setting out a specific plan of action to help you towards your goals. Depending on what you would like to work on, our time together could be as short as a few months or up to a few years. The end result should be that by the time we both agree to end our relationship, you feel more confident and comfortable than you did when you first began.
