Psychotherapist
PA
I believe everyone has their unique potential in overcoming adversity. Life is not easy, and oftentimes, we need support and someone to listen to our fears, hopes, and dreams. We sometimes need a nudge in a certain direction that we can't see. I can help provide that nudge with whatever you are struggling with. My approach I use EMDR for trauma and a unique developmental brain mapping process based on developmental questions. I use talk therapy, solution-focused therapy, and have lots of resources. I give my clients skills to practice. My focus I work with all children and adults. I work a lot with general anxiety and depression. I have a lot of couples that I work with. I also do a lot of work with trauma. My communication style I am a great listener. I am a solution-focused therapist. I will encourage my clients to focus on solutions and to put those solutions into practice. I am very empathetic and well respected in my practice. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist to help people. I had a lot of personal experiences over the years that drove me to this work and shaped my understanding of what clients need in their healing process. My goals for you The client comes up with their own goals with input from me. We collaborate to identify what matters most and create actionable steps that feel achievable and meaningful to you. My first session with you We will do an intake, which includes questions about your goals and what you want to get out of therapy. This helps us create a roadmap for our work together.
