What is keeping you from a more satisfying and joyful life? Is it the overwhelming stress and anxiety that won’t seem to stop? Perhaps it’s a deep sense of sadness, like something is just not right? Or maybe you are having difficulties with the relationships that matter the most to you? You have tried everything you can think of to feel better, but sometimes it seems like your mind is working against you. You know it can be better than this; you just don’t know how to get there or even where to start. We all get stuck sometimes, myself included. This is where having a trusted therapist can really make a big difference in your life. My goal with every client is to help them see the best parts of themselves and learn how to use their gifts to address whatever challenges they face. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado and have spent over 25 years as a therapist. I spent most of that time working for the military, but I have also worked for a local university and a refugee organization. In that time, I have had the honor of helping people navigate some of life’s biggest challenges. I am always amazed at how heroic and brave my clients are in taking charge of their lives and making impactful, meaningful change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

From the very first session onward, you will be given space to tell and explore your story. You will be heard with compassion and care. But we won't stop there. Because while having a place to really feel heard and understood is always a vital part of feeling better, it is usually not enough on its own. You will also learn some amazing tools that can really change the way you think and feel. This is the key to feeling better in the long run.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
