Maxi is a cognitive-behavioral therapist with over nine years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Manager, and State Qualified Supervisor in the mental health profession. She holds a Master's degree in Counseling from Barry University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida. Maxi has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families experiencing distress, in both individual and group settings. She enjoys guiding clients through discovery to understand the origins of their distress, improve self-awareness, and empower them to learn and apply skills that enhance overall functioning.
