Getting to know Maya Hampton

Empowering individuals, teens and families to be healthy in mind and body is how clients describe my scope of service. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for your wellness and Community Zumba Instructor for your health. I specialize in working with clients that experience depression, anxiety, trauma, stress management, self-esteem and body positivity. I am passionate about cultural healing, incorporating mental health with affirmation statements, movement and trauma-informed education. I earned my master’s degree in social work at Chicago State University. I’ve worked in the Social Work field for 8 years, providing service to children, teenagers, transition youth (college students) and adults. Wellness and healing are a vibe that should be accessible, embraced and catered to a one’s unique life journey. It is my priority to share my knowledge about mental health in a wholistic way and provide tools to live this life healthy and unapologetically.
