“I chose a 10 because the thought of looking for a new therapist was scary for me. It was the first time I've ever went through it. When I first saw her I could feel like she was going to be the best match for me. She lets me talk the whole session and when she does offer feedback its usually about something I didn't think about. She tells it like it is and I'd be happy to recommend her to all of my friends.”

Getting to know Mayah Taylor

I believe that anyone seeking help can find peace, wellness, and strength in a warm, supportive therapeutic environment. Since earning my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University, I have worked in mental health since 2017. My professional experience includes providing individual and group therapy in a private practice setting, as well as working in hospital settings to provide crisis intervention, discharge planning, and conducting behavioral health assessments as part of treatment planning. I serve clients experiencing various mental health issues, including anger management, anxiety, coping skills, depression, grief/loss, stress, and self-esteem. My approach is to treat each client individually and tailor counseling techniques to their unique needs and personal circumstances.
