I am a licensed therapist living and practicing in Arkansas, holding my license since 2010. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Arkansas State University, which helped shape my path in mental healthcare. Thank you for taking the time to consider me as a helper. I have worked in many different settings and with various diagnoses, and I enjoy what I do tremendously. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused techniques, and a variety of other person-centered skills. My focus includes working with self-esteem, depression, career challenges, trauma, and a variety of other issues. Let's get to work! What does it feel like to work with me? I hope it is fun, but above all, it is SAFE! Honestly, I grew up poor and always knew I was going to college. I happened to focus on psychology because the other subjects sounded hard. I actually did not want to go beyond a BA, but when I started working, I saw the only way to grow was to pursue my Master's-and I have never regretted it. I know I am lucky to have had such a direct path from the beginning. My goals for you are built together. I will use ?we? a lot in my sessions-this is not you against the world; it's ?we.? In our first session, you'll share what feels important and what you're comfortable sharing. Together, we build rapport.
