Getting to know Meagan Lunsford

My process in working with clients is client-led. Essentially, I do my best to accommodate and meet the needs of each individual client I work with. Some clients need more questions and engagement, while others need a quiet space to feel. I strive to create a therapeutic space that allows for a variety of ways to experience therapy. I want you to come and show up as you are. There is no perfect way to be in therapy, and I welcome the needs of others in my work. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Baylor University, which informs my approach to providing compassionate and individualized care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to take away a greater sense of self and an understanding that they are not alone in what they are navigating while in sessions with me.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I think that clients should know that I feel that it is an honor to be a part of their healing journey, in whatever form. I know that life can be challenging, and I am not here to judge or guide you but rather walk alongside you and help bring light to parts that we struggle to process. I want to work towards building trust and mutual respect. I feel that it is important that the client is able to feel empowered when in the therapeutic space.
