“Meg is a great listener who creates a safe and professional space where I feel truly heard. For me, what stands out most is her ability to be vulnerable in a genuine way, which makes her feel human and relatable. It’s rare to find a therapist who balances professionalism with that kind of authenticity. Highly recommended.”

Getting to know Meagan (Meg) Rose

Hi there! I'm Meg, a licensed social worker with 18 years of experience supporting folks struggling with their mental health. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor's from The University of Texas at Austin. I offer therapy services grounded in strengths-based and trauma-informed care, using a variety of evidence-based modalities to help you reclaim balance and resilience. I deeply value cultural humility and strive to create an inclusive environment that honors your background and experiences. Whether you're looking to overcome past trauma, manage daily stress, or embark on a journey of self-discovery, I am here to support your well-being. Finding the right therapist is an important step in your healing journey-I'd love to connect and see if we're a good fit!

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic style is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and the belief that healing happens through connection. Tailoring each session to meet your unique needs, I’ll combine techniques such as emotionally-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies, and psychodynamic interventions. I believe that healing can only happen when you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My background is in helping folks to realize their true potential and find ways to thrive, even when the cards are stacked against them. My journey in social work has allowed me to work with a wide range of diverse populations - from individuals wanting to advance their career and families facing housing crises... to trauma survivors and those dealing with depression, anxiety, and neurodiversity. Inspired by the transformative impact of therapy in my own life, I transitioned into clinical social work to offer personalized, one-on-one care. Over the years, I’ve developed a client-centered approach that emphasizes meeting you where you're at, building trust, and fostering meaningful change through proven interventions. I continuously refine my practice through ongoing education and collaboration, ensuring my approach remains both affirming and effective. My goal is to help you build resilience, enhance self-awareness, and create a more balanced, fulfilling life.
