Getting to know Megan Beardsley

I am a mother, homesteader, and creative person who loves helping others. My personality type is INFJ-A. I love doing what I am doing and am a lifelong learner who wants to continue growing as a person. I hold a Master's in Clinical Counseling and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Massachusetts. My approach is simple: I am a human helping another human. I assist by exploring themselves and their paths in this life. My focus is anyone who has the desire to better themselves. My communication style is positive, upbeat, energetic, and responsive. My journey to therapy began with many different types of therapy from community-based organizations dealing with severe persistent mental illness. My goals for you are to build introspection into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to make life-sustaining changes. In our first session, we will talk about why you are coming to therapy, review the rules and laws regarding therapy, and get to know you.

Megan is incredible. I went in with specifics on what to work on (not like she requires them), but she was a great listener and very accommodating. She was very warm and open. I highly recommend Megan and look forward to our next appointment!
