Are you feeling stagnant in an area of your life or in a relationship? Are you wanting to gain greater clarity or better regulate emotions? I help people find their courage. This helps them make changes in their lives. It also helps them face tough emotions or experiences in order to heal. My approach I am a naturally curious person who utilizes curiosity for my professional growth and in my work with clients. I encourage people I work with to bring more curiosity into their internal experiences, their relationships, and their lives in general. I find that from a place of curiosity, people can slow down and make shifts in their lives. My focus I work with adults between the ages of 18 and 60 who are self-reflective and need more support in better understanding their emotional experiences and needs in order to navigate loss, heal from trauma, manage emotions more effectively, or experience relationships differently. My communication style I provide a communication style that helps you reflect, become more curious within your selves and towards others, and helps you to feel safe in order to explore hard emotions like fear and shame. I provide reflections, observations, perspectives, a "listening ear" and a collaborative style. My journey to mental healthcare I have always been someone who has enjoyed connecting with others and learning about people. I found that people were often drawn to me to talk about life/come to me to share struggles, and I decided to learn more about psychology, so I decided to pursue my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My goals for you When we first meet, I get to know what you hope to obtain in the process of working with me. We talk about your goals and the frequency of therapy that might help you to reach your goals. I check in with you regularly so that we can stay focused on what is "growing" for you and what needs continued focus until your goals are reached.
