Are you experiencing anxiety and/or trauma, feeling frozen by your thoughts? Or perhaps you are reading this while struggling with relationship and attachment issues. Dating platforms, childhood trauma, trouble with boundaries, codependency, relationship conflict, and more may have made it difficult to have fulfilling relationships with yourself and others. If this sounds like you, you aren’t alone, and I’d love to talk. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College and am trained in trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which is helpful for anxiety and reconstructing thought patterns, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we can reshape these patterns to help you reclaim your sense of self and your life. I also incorporate somatic and mindfulness-based approaches. Often, you’ll hear me ask, “Where do you feel that in your body?” In therapy, my goal is to create a space that you can truly claim as yours—a place where you can reclaim your sense of self, safety, vulnerability, time, and energy. From there, you can reclaim your trust, kindness, confidence, independence, joy, and relationships. Reclaiming your life is overdue, and I am here when you are ready.

What should a new client know about working with you?

It is my purpose to create a warm, supportive, accountable and trauma-informed space for all of my clients. I use different types of therapy, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment-based therapy, Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused therapy, and somatic healing to provide a holistic environment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During each session, you and I will work on processing thoughts, feelings and emotions to relationships, trauma, attachment to others, and your relationship with yourself. A typical session includes a 10-15 minute check-in for the week. It's important to alleviate any stressors, and after that, I we will get into the root of what goals you and I have set out. We work on goals within the first and second sessions of treatment. As we move forward, we will engage in talk therapy, where modes of music and drawing are more than welcome!
