Psychotherapist
21 E State St, Ste 200, Columbus, OH
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker. Starting therapy is a courageous step. Whether you’re a new comer or starting with a new therapist, therapy can be challenging, but it shouldn’t feel like a chore. My goal is to make clients feel comfortable in their therapeutic space. Whether meeting online or in person, therapy should feel safe, open and collaborative. In my practice, sessions feel more like catching up with a trusted friend than sitting in a formal office. I believe that real healing happens when you feel safe enough to be fully yourself—messy parts and all. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity questions, or just feeling off, I offer a space where you can talk honestly and be met with compassion, humor, and zero judgment. I strive for clients to feel empowered to explore any topic that speaks to them. I welcome my clients to use their session time in whichever way feels most beneficial, whether that’s through talk therapy, movement, or mindfulness. New to therapy and not sure where to start? I'm happy to guide and set the pace. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Ohio. I work with clients both virtually and in person. I have done additional training in attachment style, CBT, trauma, ADHD executive functioning coaching, and mindfulness techniques. It is my goal to continue to grow in my practice and continue education. My areas of focus are teen issues, anxiety, ADHD and executive functioning, life transitions, LGBTQ+, relationships, grief, Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD), self-esteem, divorce, self-harm, suicidal ideation, sexual abuse and women’s issues. My approach is trauma informed using feminist and multi-cultural lenses.
