Psychotherapist
NY
I am an LMSW dedicated to helping people live a more fulfilling, authentic life. My goal is to provide a warm, collaborative, and empowering space where you can learn to better understand yourself, strengthen relationships, and feel comfortable in your own skin. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and your life, and that you can thrive with the proper support. While working with me, you can expect a down-to-earth approach to explore and understand your emotions, beliefs, and unhelpful patterns that are affecting your life. We can then work together to identify new ways for you better navigate life’s challenges. I have experience working with people who have experienced trauma, struggle with emotional regulation or anger management, struggle with boundaries, or are having issues with interpersonal relationships. I enjoy working with members of the LGBTQ+ community as well.

What should a new client know about working with you?

okay here is the first answer: what should a new client know about working with you? I strive to create a warm and non-judgmental space where you can feel free to be open and honest about your life and experiences. We will work together to identify the strengths in yourself and your life, as well as the parts of your life that you would like to change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and there is no one-size-fits all approach, so we will work together to find what works best for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

what is your typical process for working with clients? Developing a relationship where you feel safe to express yourself is the first step in the healing process. Our initial therapy sessions will focus on getting to know more about you, your story, and your goals for treatment. In therapy, I utilize tools from different therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, Trauma Focused Treatment, Attachment Based Therapy, Mindfulness and Somatic Based Therapies to help you meet your goals.
