“I’m struggling to adapt to CPAP, and I have found that LENS has made a huge difference for me. I am now sleeping through the night with CPAP and I feel great after each LENS treatment. My husband went to Dr Kennedy for a couple of LENS treatments after his concussion and it really helped his memory.”

Getting to know Dr. Meghan Kennedy

I am Dr. Meghan Kennedy, a licensed clinical psychologist with a doctorate in clinical psychology and training in a VA medical center and multiple medical settings. I specialize in helping clients manage chronic pain conditions like Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, fibromyalgia, CRPS, migraines, IBS, and chronic back or neck pain. With over 10 years of experience, I work with teens through older adults using ACT, CBT, and LENS Neurofeedback to calm the nervous system and support healing. My approach is compassionate, neuroscience-informed, and tailored to each person’s unique experience. I also have experience working with individuals living with chronic illness, sleep issues, weight management, and trauma.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and neuroscience. I specialize in working with individuals living with chronic pain and complex medical conditions, using evidence-based modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and LENS Neurofeedback. These tools help calm the nervous system, reduce suffering, and support meaningful change. I also integrate trauma-informed care to ensure clients feel safe, understood, and empowered throughout the process. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and body are connected—and how small shifts can lead to lasting relief and resilience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll take time to understand your unique experience with pain and how it’s impacting your life. You’ll have space to share what feels important, and I’ll ask questions about your symptoms, history, and goals—always at your pace. We’ll begin exploring how approaches like ACT, CBT, and LENS Neurofeedback may support your healing. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that fits your needs, preferences, and values, so you feel supported and empowered every step of the way.
