What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist was unexpected: my original plan was to become a member of the clergy, and I have honored spirituality through work in interfaith ministry. Through social work, I discovered I enjoy helping people heal and grow more than leading them, which is what ultimately drew me away from that path. It started by working with people experiencing homelessness and then in residential care for students with behavioral disabilities before being drawn back to school to pursue therapy. My diversity in my professional career has led to a deep commitment to providing care that honors the whole person and is judgment-free in each session.
