Are you struggling with anxiety and depression, which leads you to not feeling good enough, feeling disconnected, or feeling like you can't recover and heal from life's challenges? You want to feel connection, joy, trust in self and others, and a motivation to move through these challenges and go forward in your life. You deserve all of this, and you have the capacity to create changes. Exploring the present and the past will help give you information to know how to create the future you want. Together, we will co-create a space to explore, get curious, and challenge old patterns that aren't working for you anymore. I work with an understanding that therapy doesn't look the same as in the books. I choose to work from a holistic approach, helping treat the whole individual. My approach to therapy is collaborative and oriented towards helping you create new patterns of behavior and cultivate connection and authenticity in alignment with your values. My treatment approach is individualized to provide my clients with the best care and support possible while also addressing current life challenges. With compassion and understanding, I guide clients to find resolutions to a wide range of personal concerns that impact their mental health. My style is relational and embodies openness, warmth, humor, and a non-judgmental presence. I practice active listening and will give you the opportunities to reflect on your experiences. As you process these experiences, I will be with you as an empathetic partner. If we’re working through something challenging and emotional, you can expect me to be calm and patient. There will be moments during the therapeutic process where I will be seeking clarification of your progress and understanding of skills learned. I will also be using a therapeutic skill called Socratic questioning, where I will guide you to challenge your thoughts by asking open-ended questions.
