Hello! I'm Meghan, and I'm here to help you navigate through life's challenges. Do you feel stuck in a loop of anxious thoughts, depressed, isolated, or lonely? Are you struggling with friends, family, co-workers, or a partner? I can help! I always meet clients where they are. My approach is eclectic, combining cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, trauma-informed, solution-focused, mindfulness, person-centered, and motivational interviewing techniques. Together, we'll create a treatment plan that meets your unique needs and goals. My aim is to help you live the best life you can, and I'll do my best to challenge you and point out thinking styles that may be unhelpful. I believe that feeling a connection to your therapist and feeling comfortable is more important than any specific therapeutic approach. I know there are many options out there, and I want you to feel at ease while gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and working toward your goals. You will find that I use a healthy amount of humor during sessions to make the process more enjoyable. In 2014, I graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College with a Master's degree in Social Work. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Colorado with approximately 11 years of experience working as a therapist in outpatient behavioral health settings. I primarily work with adults aged 18 and up and have had the privilege of working with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Some of the concerns I help clients with include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, adjustment to trauma, grief, chronic pain, personality disorders, addiction, difficulty focusing, and depleted self-esteem. I understand that the decision to begin therapy and the process of change can be very difficult. I would be pleased to be a part of your journey, and I welcome you to schedule a session with me. Let's work together to help you achieve a more fulfilling and balanced life.
