Hello and thank you for visiting my profile! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of South Carolina and Georgia with over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families. I have provided counseling services to clients with an array of concerns to include depression, anxiety, stress, work life balance, parenting, relationship issues, and grief and loss. My experience also consists of work with clients with substance use history and military personnel. I build rapport and gain an understanding of my clients' concerns using Motivational Interviewing and continue to establish the therapeutic relationship using client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy. My approach to counseling is to provide my clients with compassion, empathy and encouragement, without judgment, to find solutions within oneself. I consider myself a vibrant and enthusiastic person and enjoy listening and talking with my clients. I love to incorporate fun conversations and laughter when appropriate. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
