Melani Meacham is a provisionally licensed counselor who earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors and is a member of Chi Sigma Iota. Her experience also includes internships in private practice counseling and group trauma/grief intensives at Lakeside Behavioral Health Center Intensive Outpatient Program. Melani integrates a holistic approach that incorporates her Mental Health First Aider Certification and 200-hour yoga certification to support mind-body wellness. As a former licensed K–6th grade and Spanish teacher, Melani has a strong background in supporting children with learning differences, IEP/504 plans, and behavioral challenges. She welcomes patients from age 5 through older adulthood and is dedicated to empowering clients to achieve their mental health goals in a supportive, collaborative space.
