Getting to know Melanie Hodos

I started my counseling journey after my teenage daughter died and grew to understand the unique challenges that grief presents to people. I have been in the helping profession one way or another since I started working. I have a wide range of experience including working with caregivers for those with dementia, children with unique challenges and depression. I am trained in parent child interaction therapy, EMDR and Trauma Focused Cognitive Therapy. I work with a wide range of ages and have a passion for helping those with trauma. I believe we all have the ability to build the best life we can. Therapy is a collaboration and as we engage together we will build skills to get through tough times!
