They would be open to learning about therapy options and have many questions, including sharing their fears regarding therapy. My ideal client would also be prepared to complete homework assignments and truly engage in each session. During therapy, I learn what each emotion looks like for my client and how it impacts their life. My ideal client's growth is evident in every session they participate in, and they never give up on themselves. I have worked with many different populations and consider myself well-versed in the pressing issues that impact the world. I am certified in domestic violence, which has taught me a great deal of valuable skills. My specialty is teaching clients how to communicate effectively while embracing their genuine selves. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University, which has provided me with a strong foundation to support my clients effectively.
