Psychotherapist
PA
The ideal client I work with is someone experiencing anxiety, depression, or navigating grief and loss. Their needs may include seeking emotional or mental support, processing their experiences, and learning techniques to manage their challenges. Together, we focus on finding solutions and developing healthy coping skills. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Delaware State University and have experience working with individuals in immediate crisis, having served as a telephone operator for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Additionally, I have been an outpatient therapist for roughly a year. I support those who are suffering by providing empathy and emotional support, collaborating with clients to create meaningful goals and lasting coping strategies. I encourage you to reach out to me, as I am committed to helping you to the best of my ability. I welcome feedback and am always eager to learn so I can better serve my clients. Many of my current clients report feeling comfortable speaking with me and opening up, and I hope to offer the same supportive environment for you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I typically use a solutions-focused therapy with some components of cognitive behavioral therapy and a strengths-based perspective. With that being said, every person is different, and one style may work better with one over the other. In the initial sessions we will determine which style will be more beneficial for you. I aim to create a warm and welcoming environment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the first few sessions, the focus will be on building rapport and establishing goals to be accomplished through therapy. From there, sessions will focus on following up on the goals that were set and using talk therapy to initiate progress in treatment.
