Psychotherapist

Do you feel like the world was designed for one type of person, and that you didn’t get or don’t want to follow the rulebook? You’ve experienced rejection, discrimination, invalidation, or misunderstandings due to your neurodivergence, gender/sexual identity, chronic illness, or disability. Hiding parts of yourself to survive leaves you disconnected from your authentic self. You may be in the process of rebuilding yourself after childhood, partner, or religious abuse. It feels like your identity itself is in question, and you want relief from the depression, anxiety, and hopelessness, and to be able to accept yourself as you are. In our work together, I'll bring compassion, curiosity, and a dash of humor. I believe the therapeutic relationship provides a nurturing space to access our innate ability to grow and heal. Even though many of our difficulties stem from systemic inequalities that can't be easily changed, we can cultivate resilience, find joy, and create authentic lives. Being different and misunderstood in our society is exhausting. I understand these feelings because I've experienced many of them myself, along with the healing that can occur when a compassionate witness hears, validates, and affirms your story. I'll help you sort through the pieces of your narrative and shape a life that fits you perfectly.
