What should a new client know about working with you?

I strive to meet clients exactly where they are. Hesitant and unsure about therapy but willing to give it a shot? Sounds good. Ready to jump in head first, let's go! Either way, I am right here with you. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help balance the overwhelming emotional thinking with rational and logically based approaches that help you ultimately take back control and feel better about how to manage the unexpected when it comes your way. We will evaluate old thinking patterns that are working against you and give you tools to take back control and implement new skills that work with you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with clients who want and need help. Clients who are looking for support in stepping outside of their comfort zone and trusting someone to help them help themselves... I work with clients who feel they are drowning and clients who are trying to prevent that. Clients who want daily support and clients who just need someone to bounce concerns off of. Clients who have a history with mental health treatment and clients who are brand new to therapy. All are welcome here.
