Getting to know Mindy Hall Czech

Hi! My name is Mindy Hall Czech, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and EdS in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia Southern University. I LOVE what I do, and I am always honored to walk with others on their journey through life. Sometimes we need someone to walk with us through the hardships of life where anxiety, fear, anger, and other emotions have taken root and made their home. We need a place to vent and figure out how to re-train our brain—where anxiety, past traumas, and more no longer lead us, but healthy thoughts, healthy ways of life, and building healthy behaviors do. Life is about growth and change, and about learning how to put away some pieces where they no longer have a hold on us like they once did. Whatever you bring into therapy—pain, trauma, or the need for daily life maintenance—I am here to walk with you through it. I meet you where you are in life and provide integrated therapy specific to your needs. I work with a variety of individuals facing many different challenges. I provide a safe, judgment-free space for people to open up about their struggles and pain, and to celebrate their triumphs as they work through what they need to sort out.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My hope is that after our first session you will feel understood, you will feel a sense of relief (like a weight is starting to be lifted off of your shoulders), and that we will have a tentative plan of action (long-term goals and short-term goals, and small steps to work towards them). I jump in your car with you, and I am not the driver. This is your journey, and I am honored to be a part of it. As I get to know you and things click for me, I will, with your permission, put my thoughts on the table for us to look at. It is a collaborative effort, with trial and error- trying different, healthy tactics to see what works for you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Mindy is so easy to talk to. She makes me feel heard and understood. She is really down to earth and practical. I appreciate that she takes the things that seem or feel so complicated to me and helps me break them down to one digestible thought to chew on and untangle. She gives a real practical approach to helping me recognize and stop the wrong thought patterns that have been on repeat all my life.
Mindy is so insightful, she manages to make intelligent observations while remaining very humorous and real. I’ve really benefited from my session with her and look forward to them!
