Getting to know Melissa Bish
I offer 15 years of counseling experience in drug and alcohol addiction and mental health. I have worked primarily with teenagers and older clients throughout most of my career. I collaborate with my clients to identify goals they want to work on while also helping them increase self-care. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I have received training in several areas within my field, including Choice Theory Group, Child Management, Drug and Alcohol Addiction, PTSD, DSM IV, group and individual counseling, Crisis, and Addiction Management.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My clients take away from sessions healthy ways to work on the change they want to make in their worlds. They learn about self-care and how to implement that daily into their lives. Work on implementing change through how they think about themselves, to active change in their worlds.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
