Psychotherapist
WI
Hi there, I'm Melissa! I believe that therapy is not about fixing who you are-it's about reconnecting with the self you may have lost along the way. I enjoy working with adults, as well as those who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community, BIPOC community (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), and anyone who is on a journey of self-discovery and healing. Whether you are processing grief, navigating trauma, questioning identity, or simply needing space to be heard, I am here to talk to walk with you - wherever you are. My approach I use a wide variety of treatment modalities to assist my clients. Based on your unique needs, I will adapt my approach to include many practices. Your goals and progress are my primary focus. My focus I enjoy working with all types of individuals from all walks of life, young to elderly, men and women, those within the LGBTQ+ or BIPOC communities. No matter what you are facing, I strive to provide a comforting and empathetic environment. My communication style My communication style varies from person to person. I work to meet my clients where they are and what their needs are within a therapy session. I practice open and transparent communication to create a supportive, no-surprises type of environment. I practice active listening to allow you the opportunity to reflect on your experiences.
