Melissa Farmer, LMHC, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, received a Bachelors degree in psychology cum laude from Boston University and a Masters degree in clinical mental health counseling with a focus on holistic interventions from Lesley University. Melissa provides individual counseling to older adolescents through adults. Melissa has experience treating a broad range of concerns, including adjustment issues, anxiety, stress, mood disorders, self injurious behaviors, eating disordersbody image concerns, gender identitygender dysphoria as well as other mental health concerns. Melissa uses client focused and strengths based approaches that include cognitive behavior therapy and holisticmindfulness based strategies.
