What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to provide you with evidence based strategies and skills that are unique to supporting you move towards your goals to living a more enriched life. My approach is collaborative and creative to explore challenges, relational issues, process trauma, improve self-esteem, and foster self-awareness. As a Board Certified Art Therapist, my education and training offers clients the ability to view the healing process through a creative lens that traditional talk therapy cannot offer. You do not need to have any creative or artistic skills to benefit from art therapy. Art therapy can be an additional resource we can bring into the therapy space that is something you can take with you and add to your tool kit of coping skills.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our initial work together will be centered on creating goals that are important to you that will help guide our work together. I believe in creating a safe therapeutic space that is focused around you getting the most out of your therapy experience. My process is to encourage open dialogue around creating and maintaining that supportive and healing environment.
