I also work with couples eager to explore ways to improve communication and strengthen their relationships. Additionally, I support parents seeking assistance in coping with the challenges of raising children, as well as children and teens facing difficulties at school, at home, or with peers. I have a special interest in working with women who are pregnant and nervous, those who have recently delivered and feel anxious about returning to work, and those struggling to balance work and home life. My strength lies in helping clients reframe their perspectives. I assist clients in seeing the world from different viewpoints. I am skilled at helping parents understand their children from a developmental perspective, enabling better interactions. I recognize that grief comes in many forms and am experienced in helping clients cope with grief and loss. I also understand that change takes time. My name is Melissa, and I thank you for reaching out. I know starting therapy can be difficult, and I'm honored that you're taking this first step by considering me as your therapist.
