Getting to know Melissa Lamberty

Have you ever reached a point in your life where you feel overwhelmed, lost, fearful, or insecure? Have the waves of depression, anxiety, or PTSD consumed your everyday life? What about the constant negative self-talk that makes you feel trapped? I have deep compassion for people who struggle with their thoughts and emotions, whether it is a chronic situation or the result of a significant life event. I hold a Master’s in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support individuals through these challenges with empathy and understanding.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a firm believer that our mental health is just as important as our physical health. Our bodies, at both the mental and physical level, constantly needs refueling, recharging, relaxation and healing. We all deserve happiness, peace and a quality life. We all come from different walks of life and I believe that our experiences shape our worldview. My passion is to meet people where they are in life and help guide them to the path of healing and tranquility.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The therapy process starts with a 15 min consult to assess for fit (no charge). We then book our first session where I get a better sense of what you're hoping to change through therapy. We then work together to support you in your therapy goals. I look forward to meeting you!
