Getting to know Melissa Lowe

Hello, my name is Melissa. With over thirty years' experience as a licensed clinical social worker in the mental health field, I have developed a therapeutic approach that includes compassion, forgiveness and self-acceptance. Life can be like sailing on an ocean that at one minute is calm then suddenly stormy. Navigating the difficult times sometimes require reaching out for help. My job is to be there to walk you through the difficult times, identify the problem areas and provide the tools that will allow you to overcome the difficulties that life places in your path. You no longer have to face your issues alone. We will do it together! I earned my Master of Arts in Social Work at the University of Central Forida and specialize in crisis resolution, substance abuse counseling, cognitive behavior therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. My clients include a multi-cultural range of adults. In addition to numerous insurances, I am also a Medicare provider.
