I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families navigating the kind of stuff life doesn't prepare you for — relationship strain, anxiety, disconnection, and those seasons where everything just feels like too much. I got into this work because I believe that what happens between people matters just as much as what happens within them. Families shape us. Relationships challenge us. And sometimes we need an outside perspective to see what we're too close to see on our own. That's where I come in — not with a checklist or a script, but with genuine curiosity about your situation and a real commitment to helping you find a way through it.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm not going to sit across from you with a blank expression and nod. I'm engaged, I'm direct when it helps, and I'm going to be honest with you — because that's what actually moves things forward. This space is judgment-free, but it's not passive. We're going to work. That doesn't mean it'll always be intense — sometimes it's just talking through what's been building up. But I do come to every session prepared and present, and I expect us to dig into what's really going on, not just the surface version of it. You also don't need to arrive with a clear problem statement. A lot of people come in knowing something feels off but not quite knowing what. That's completely fine — figuring it out together is part of the process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Progress isn't always linear, and I'll be upfront about that. But I'll also name when I see things shifting — even when you can't feel it yet.
