Psychotherapist
WA
We can all find ourselves stuck in undesirable feelings, situations, or relationships. Through our work together, I hope to help create space for healing through self exploration, uncovering a deeper understanding of past and present selves. Ultimately, I hope to support my clients toward building a life that feels meaningful and fulfilled. My approach My therapy style is based on genuine interaction, and I utilize a variety of techniques and modalities depending on your unique needs. My approach is person-centered, with interventions from me that support your goals. My focus I work with people navigating relationship challenges, whether it be with parents, partners/spouses, children, or friends. Together, we will build a deeper understanding of our relational blind spots and strengths to improve daily interactions and overall relationship satisfaction. My communication style I will bring a calm and empathetic presence to our sessions. I encourage reflection and honesty with self and others. As our work progresses and safety is established, I may gently challenge irrational or untrue thoughts/beliefs that may be hindering growth. My journey to mental healthcare While working with young adults in an educational setting, it became obvious to me how deeply mental health affects outcomes. From there, I started to explore the connection between the past and present, noticing how often our past experiences hold us back. Therapy has the power to help clear out these internal blocks and lean in to a true self. My goals for you We will work together to define goals and reassess these as needed. My first session with you First sessions can feel overwhelming. I like to use this time to get to know you and your goals for therapy. I may ask more questions during this time than I would typically, but I'm always working at your pace. This is also a time to ask your questions and voice any reservations or concerns you may have about therapy.
