I am a NC Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, with a certification in Accelerated Resolution, The Blast Technique, Meditation, and neurofeedback. My approach is eclectic and tailored to the client's needs using aspects of varying modalities, such as: Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.), The Blast Method, and Somatic Therapy. The BLAST Technique is a client centered, compassion focused modality that I use to get fast and effective resolution to traumatic events in potentially as little as 20 minutes. It minimizes emotional distress because it doesn't require require re-experiencing the trauma. Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence-based psychotherapy that allows clients to experience rapid recovery by reprogramming how the brain stores traumatic memories using rapid eye movements. My office is a safe, comfortable place to heal from uncertainty, emotional wounds, psychological traumas, post traumatic stress, persistent difficulties, unhealthy relationships, and current stress. People say that it's easy to talk to me. I am non-judgmental, flexible, and specialize in meeting each individual client's needs.
