UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. After spending 25 years in the legal field, I returned to school to pursue a career in counseling. My desire to go into counseling stems from my personal experience of witnessing others struggle with mental health issues. I provide therapy services with adolescents and adults, and have worked in psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, and juvenile detention. I practice using accelerated resolution therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and strength-based approaches, all tailored to my clients’ needs. I focus on helping you heal and become aware of your inner strengths by providing you a safe space and listening to your needs and concerns.
